During the COVID-19 measures, indoor swimming pools were closed or operated at reduced capacity. This hit municipal utilities and private pool operators hard – especially in winter, when operations normally peak, and the ban on recirculated air became particularly costly amid rising energy prices.
DESCRIPTION
At Hallenbad Nürtingen, thirteen VIROBUSTER® XL Tubes, each with a capacity of 6,000 m³/h, supply germ-free air to the swimming hall, changing rooms, and sauna area via the existing HVAC system. This greatly reduces the risk of airborne infections.
OUR CONCEPT
By equipping the existing recirculation system with the new XL Steritubes, Stadtwerke Nürtingen can take advantage of several options unique to the VIROBUSTER® concept:
